Helpdesk Administrator
About the role
T1 Energy is seeking an entry-level Helpdesk Administrator to support the Automation & IT Engineering team. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who wants hands-on experience in IT operations.
Responsibilities
- Support new hire onboarding by preparing laptops, ordering equipment, and setting up user accounts.
- Create and manage user credentials, permissions, and access across systems and tools.
- Set up, configure, and troubleshoot laptops and basic IT equipment.
- Track and manage incoming IT requests, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Prioritize requests based on urgency and business impact.
- Partner closely with engineers to support day-to-day operations.
- Maintain clear documentation and basic IT processes.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or similar roles.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Internship or co-op experience in IT or technical support a plus.
- Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and common productivity tools.
- Microsoft certifications (especially for recent grads) a plus.
- Experience with identity and access management tools.
- Experience supporting onboarding in a growing company.
