About the Campaign
SC Cambuur is facing a serious financial situation, with a debt of approximately €45 million primarily due to the construction of our new stadium. Last season ended with a loss of €3.6 million, and the club’s equity position is negative. The club is under supervision, and without improvement, sanctions, points deductions, and forced player sales may follow.
This campaign is a call to action from concerned supporters to ensure continuity and a healthy future for Cambuur. We aim to prevent the fate of other Dutch clubs like AGOVV, Veendam, RBC, HFC Haarlem, and FC Wageningen, which have all ceased to exist. Recently, Vitesse was saved by supporters raising €2 million—now, it’s our turn.
