Help Diagnose Our Irrigation System

About the role

The Samaritan Center, a local nonprofit organization, is looking for a volunteer with experience in irrigation systems, sprinkler systems, or landscaping to help assess an issue with our outdoor irrigation system.

Responsibilities

• Assess the current condition of the irrigation system
• Confirm or clarify previous findings, including a seized shutoff valve and DCA (backflow device) and additional damage within the irrigation system
• Recommend the most practical next steps
• Provide a no-cost estimate or advice on repairs, if possible

Founded in 1974, Samaritan Center is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization serving Central Texas, providing professional counseling, integrative medicine, peer support, and wellness education that are accessible and affordable for all, including a Hope for Heroes program serving veterans and military families.

Requirements

• Experience in irrigation systems, sprinkler systems, or landscaping
• Ability to donate time to inspect the system and provide guidance
