About the role
The role involves providing technical support to users across various departments, resolving hardware and software issues, and maintaining system integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues using diagnostic tools and knowledge of relevant technologies.
- Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Document and implement best practices for user support and system maintenance.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience with common operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Knowledge of common hardware components and peripherals.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Passion for technology and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Skills
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with ticketing systems and CRM tools.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
