Responsibilities
- Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system in a timely manner.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and other desktop equipment/accessories.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or specialized teams when necessary.
- Document all support requests, resolutions, and processes in the ticketing system.
- Aid with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including account setup and equipment provisioning.
- Maintain knowledge of company IT policies and ensure compliance.
- Provide guidance and training to users on basic IT functions and best practices.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in technical support or help desk environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and remote support tools.
- Experience troubleshooting laptop/PC hardware.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Familiarity with Exchange, Entra and Intune administration.
- Familiarity with Zoom, MS Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
- A+ Certification.
- ITIL Foundations Certification.
- Experience responding to user inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system in a timely manner.
