About the role
We are seeking a Help Desk Specialist to support our mission-focused customer. This role involves providing Tier 1 support to end users by utilizing various technical directories and virtual applications.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 support to end users by utilizing various technical directories and virtual applications.
- Respond to mission-critical needs on an on-call basis (10% of time).
- Communicate effectively and write clearly.
- Familiarize yourself with LAN/WAN and basic hardware terminologies.
Requirements
- Experience troubleshooting general IT-related issues.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Preferred: Familiarity with COTS and GOTS applications, experience providing Tier 1 or Tier 2 Help Desk support, experience troubleshooting through technical directories and virtual resources, a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with LAN/WAN terminologies.
- Familiarity with basic hardware terminologies.
Skills
- Good communication and writing skills.
- Ability to respond to mission-critical needs on an on-call basis (10%).

Pay
The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000. The actual salary will be commensurate with experience.
