Help Desk Technician with Security Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Provide help desk support using ITSM tools (Remedy)
  • Create, track, and resolve incident tickets and service requests
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and user access issues
  • Support email, account management, and standard desktop applications
  • Re-image systems and maintain end-user devices
  • Reset CAC/token PINs and support account access
  • Perform file share access maintenance and user support
  • Escalate issues to appropriate support teams and track through resolution
  • Cook up incident response across multiple support groups

Required Qualifications

  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
  • DoD 8570 IAT II certification (e.g., Security+)
  • At least 1 year of help desk experience in a multi-user environment
  • Strong understanding of PC operating systems
  • Working knowledge of networking and email systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MECM, VMware, ESXi, or NetApp ONTAP

Education

  • HS + 6 years OR AA + 4 years OR BS + 2 years OR MS + 0 years
