Responsibilities

• Generate interest and impactful client meetings, yielding a robust sales opportunity pipeline.
• Follow up and qualify respondents from various marketing programs.
• Drive quality outreach activities, including calls, emails, and LinkedIn interactions.
• Research institutions to identify influencers, decision makers, and business goals to position Cengage offerings.
• Nurture and manage leads until they are sales-ready, providing your sales partners with qualified opportunities.
• Track all activity in our CRM system to support account management teams.

Skills

• Working knowledge of MS Office applications and internet navigation.
• A self-starter attitude with a competitive, goal-focused perspective.
• Outstanding organization and communication skills, with a passion for planning, prioritizing, and goal setting.
• An intrinsic motivation to improve every day through continuous development and training.
• Professional persistence and the ability to “think on your feet” to build rapport and compose compelling client interactions.

Pay

The full base pay range for this position is $21.00 - $28.00 USD per hour. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.

In this position, you will be eligible to participate in the company’s variable Sales incentive compensation program with an annual individual target of $25,000 USD. Actual incentive earnings are not guaranteed and may be more or less than the target amount based on achievement of performance goals and the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan.
