Heavy Equipment Operator / Foreman

About the role

We're a well-established, family-owned construction company with a reputation built on quality work, safety, and taking care of our people. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator / Foreman who enjoys leading crews, operating specialized equipment, and seeing projects through from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Operate specialized heavy equipment, including pulverizers and spreaders
• Lead and supervise field crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
• Cook up daily job site activities and assign tasks to crew members
• Maintain production and adjust work plans as needed to meet project goals
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and OSHA requirements
• Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and customers
• Maintain a positive, professional job site culture

Requirements

• 5+ years of heavy equipment operating experience
• Previous foreman, lead operator, or crew leadership experience preferred
• Strong understanding of construction operations and job site safety
• Valid driver's license required
• OSHA certification is a plus

Monday–Friday, weekend work as needed
