Responsibilities
- Use advanced software to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system faults.
- Rebuild, repair, and replace components including diesel engines, transmissions, and air brakes.
- Perform preventative service checks, oil changes, tune-ups, and wheel alignments.
- Ensure all fleet vehicles comply with federal and state safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date service logs and parts inventory records.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or vocational training in diesel technology.
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience working on heavy-duty commercial trucks.
- Deep understanding of diesel engines, air brake systems, and electronic diagnostics.
- Capability to lift up to 50lbs and work comfortably in tight spaces or on your feet.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL is a major plus); ASE certifications are highly preferred.
