Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections on trucks and heavy equipment
• Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems
• Repair or replace engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, suspensions, and exhaust systems
• Perform preventative maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, tune-ups)

Qualifications

• 3+ consecutive years of heavy duty/truck mechanic experience
• CDJR experience is preferred; prior diesel experience is required
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, and excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
• Teammate with the ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures, and specifications
• Valid driver’s license and meet insurability guidelines

Pay

$35 - $47/hour. Compensation will be based on performance and experience; pay ranges may vary from displayed amounts.
