Paid Time Off

Responsibilities

  • Maintains all BOH work areas (kitchens, prep areas, and dish rooms), equipment (stoves, grills, stove hoods, oven hoods, deep fryers and fryer boil-out, etc.), and assists with the daily cleaning in accordance with OSHA and ServSafe standards.
  • Removes garbage and trash from all operating venues, ensuring all trash cans are clean and relined.
  • Clean mechanical devices as needed, i.e. dishwashers, combi ovens, ice cream machines and smoker.
  • Adheres to safety, proper cleanliness and sanitation standards as set forth by Company and Departmental Guidelines and ServSafe.
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitary conditions in all kitchen and food storage areas by scrubbing the floors, cleaning surfaces, washing walls, and ceilings tiles as needed.
  • Carries or transfers by cart, supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
  • Maintain safe working conditions and practices throughout all guest and service contact areas.
  • Must be presentable when reporting to work, wearing Hollywood issued uniforms. Good personal hygiene is required.
  • Initiate a positive guest experience when working in or traveling by any guest contact area by providing a warm welcome and/or greeting, making eye contact, smiling, and bidding a warm farewell and good luck, etc.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and fellow employees. Understanding of OSHA and Your Right to Know Rules pertaining to the MSDS Book (Material Safety Data Sheet) and regulations as required.

Skills

Frequent exposure to wet and/or humid conditions. Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
