Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Technology Instructor
About the role
State Technical College of Missouri is accepting applications for a full-time, 9-month annual contract, exempt, and benefit-eligible instructor position in the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Technology department.
Responsibilities
- Instruct and develop courses covering topics such as residential and commercial heating and air conditioning, fundamentals of electricity, motors and controls, HVAC building automation and energy management controls, commercial refrigeration, and sheet metal.
- Develop and implement curriculum based on industry standards and best practices.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Participate in student recruitment, advisement, and college service activities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
- A minimum of five years of experience in the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning industry.
- A bachelor’s degree or the willingness to earn one.
- Excellent communication, computer, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching/training experience.
- E.P.A. 608 Universal Certification.

Pay
Salary starts at $60,000 and increases depending on experience.
