The Transition to Practice Program Coach supports newly hired staff by providing ongoing guidance, monitoring onboarding processes, and facilitating classroom and on-the-job training to enhance skills and interpersonal growth.
Responsibilities
- Complete competency modules
- Conduct coaching sessions
- Collaborate on scheduling and preceptor assignments
- Analyze onboarding progress to ensure safe patient care
- Support staff during day, night, and weekend shifts
- Maintain communication with unit leadership
- Support recruitment and retention events
- Provide direct patient care when needed
Requirements
- Valid nurse license (RN)
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- Nursing diploma or degree
