About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated full-time nights RN Transition to Practice to join our team at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. This role focuses on assessing, developing, and supporting the clinical competency of students, licensed, and non-licensed personnel.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate the clinical competency of students, nonlicensed, and licensed personnel.
- Develop department-based orientation plans in collaboration with preceptors, department leadership, and Clinical Education.
- Provide supervision and clinical instruction to students, licensed, and nonlicensed employees on orientation in collaboration with preceptors.
- Evaluate progress in acquiring core and specialized competencies for students, licensed, and nonlicensed employees.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and provide just-in-time education as needed.
- Supervise and coordinate licensed personnel in the provision of orientation, in-service education, and implementation of quality improvement plans.
- Serve as a clinical practice resource and provide mentorship to students, licensed, and non-licensed employees.
- Report to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president.
- Adhere to standard precautions and safety protocols, including potential exposure to infections, communicable diseases, blood, body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals.

Requirements
- 3 years of RN-related work experience (2 years of full-time LPN experience can substitute for 1 year of RN experience, or 2 years of part-time RN experience can substitute for 1 year of RN experience).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- Other certifications and competencies as required by the service line.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN).
