Healthcare Revenue Cycle Associate - Entry Level

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve claim denials, rejections, and billing errors.
• Submit corrected claims and follow up with payers.
• Call payers for claim status, denial details, and payment issues.
• Aid in appeals, including documentation and follow-up.
• Post payments, adjustments, and approved write-offs.
• Review remits/EOBs and research payment issues.
• Maintain accounts and update billing records.
• Verify insurance eligibility and coverage.

Minimum Education & Experience Required

• Associate’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in medical billing.
• Prior experience in home health or hospice billing, with a strong understanding of Medicare billing processes preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
