About the role
We are seeking a Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide Addiction Medicine care in a clinic-based setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients seeking Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders
- Prescribe and monitor medications such as buprenorphine and naltrexone
- Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide patient education on addiction and recovery
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide crisis intervention when necessary
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree
- Active licensure and DEA registration
- At least 1 year of clinical experience with some exposure to addiction medicine
Skills
- Strong assessment and diagnostic abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of MAT protocols and compliance standards
