About the role

Primarily outpatient clinic-based in Boulder, Colorado, focused on addiction medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments, diagnose, and manage medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders, including prescribing and monitoring medications like buprenorphine and naltrexone.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on their condition and treatment process, and provide follow-up care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing or related field.
  • Active license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
  • DEA registration.
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience, including 0.5 years in addiction medicine.
  • Knowledge of MAT protocols and regulations.
  • Ability to administer injections.
