Healthcare Project Manager - Columbus Construction
Description
Lead healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Manage project budgets, forecasting, subcontractor buyout, contracts, and change order administration.
Develop and maintain project schedules while coordinating owners, architects, engineers, trade partners, and hospital stakeholders.
Oversee procurement, RFIs, submittals, project documentation, and regulatory compliance throughout each phase of construction.
Partner closely with field leadership to promote a strong safety culture and ensure quality, logistics, and project sequencing are successfully executed.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by leading project meetings and providing proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with healthcare construction standards, including ICRA protocols and infection control requirements when applicable.
Identify project risks early and implement strategic solutions to maintain schedule, budget, and overall project performance.
Profile
Project Management experience with a General Contractor
Proven experience managing healthcare construction projects, including hospitals, medical facilities, or occupied clinical environments
Strong understanding of ICRA requirements and healthcare construction best practices is highly preferred
Experience managing project budgets, schedules, procurement, contracts, and change orders
Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and coordination across multiple trades
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent industry experience
Job Offer
Competitive base salary of $110,000-$150,000, depending on experience
