About the role

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani (GRSM) has immediate openings for healthcare and professional liability litigation attorneys with at least three years’ and up to seven years’ experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive team projects and collaborate effectively with colleagues
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis
• Brief and argue motions before courts
• Take and defend depositions
• Create and manage written discovery
• Prepare and present oral arguments in court
• Handle client communications and liaise with clients
• Participate in trial proceedings, if applicable

Requirements

• Licensed and admitted to practice in North Carolina or California
• Excellent litigation, writing, and persuasive speaking skills
• Strong academic background
• Proven skills in research
• Self-starter capable of handling tasks independently

Qualifications

• At least three years’ and up to seven years’ experience in healthcare and professional liability litigation
• Experience briefing and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and leading written discovery efforts
• Trial experience preferred but not required
