This is a hybrid position based in our Center City Philadelphia office, requiring two days a week onsite.
About the role
The Healthcare Operations Data Analyst partners with operational leaders across ancillary and clinical departments to identify opportunities, measure key performance indicators, and drive operational improvement through analytics. The role will develop meaningful dashboards, perform operational analyses, translate business needs into data solutions, and provide actionable recommendations that improve patient access, provider productivity, and organizational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Data Science team, Ancillary team, Office managers, and other stakeholders to support operational reporting and analysis needs.
- Publish and/or present meaningful reports, updates, and recommendations that drive operational decision-making to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the ancillary team to comprehend reporting requirements and devise strategies to fulfill any unmet needs.
- Act as a liaison between the ancillary department and data science team to ensure and maintain data precision.
- Create concise documentation to detail strategic solutions and analyses.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Healthcare Administration, or related quantitative field.
- 2-3 years experience in healthcare analytics, business intelligence, operations analytics, or related analytical role.
- Proficient in data analysis and interpretation, showcasing strong analytical abilities.
- Ability to work with complex data with strong problem-solving and reasoning skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare industries.
- Experience in Tableau or PowerBI.
- Experience in SQL, Python/R, or similar programming language.
- Familiarity with healthcare data.
