About the role

In this role, you will work with Information Delivery team members to provide analysis to support the business in making decisions related to healthcare cost and quality improvement. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to highly visible reporting, including provider and client-facing initiatives. You'll collaborate with teams across the enterprise, present findings, and play an important role in enhancing how healthcare data is analyzed and visualized.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain good working relationships throughout the corporation to support department, division and BCBST corporate goals and objectives
  • Work with team leaders to organize and execute multiple projects in an accurate and timely manner
  • Gain business domain knowledge and adjust communication style to relate results to various types of business owners across the company
  • Develop metrics, execute research designs and reports using business rules and requirements provided by business owners

Requirements

Your work will directly support Medicare Advantage quality and cost initiatives, as well as clinical data exchange across all lines of business. Our ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate technical findings into business insights. You will be a strong candidate if you have experience with healthcare, provider, or insurance data, provider-focused programs, and data analysis.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience) OR Master's Degree with no work experience
  • Experience: 2 years
  • Experience in analytics, reporting and data utilizing industry-standard tools
  • Experience with healthcare, provider, or insurance data, provider-focused programs, and data analysis

Skills/Certifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong analytical skills with understanding of basic statistics and algebra required

Pay

The pay range for this role is $60,000 - $90,000 annually.

Schedule

The role supports Eastern time core business hours (8am-5pm).

Benefits

This is a fully remote, work-from-home position; however, the final round of interviews will take place on-site at our Chattanooga, TN Headquarters.
