This is an onsite position in the Kansas City metro area.
About the role
Perform statistical modeling and data analysis to develop metrics, reports, and visualizations that identify trends and patterns of business importance. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and present data to influence decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reports that impact data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data needs, develop technical requirements, and provide analytical interpretations.
- Leverage advanced analytics tools for reporting needs.
- Analyze trends and patterns in both structured and unstructured datasets to generate actionable insights.
- Build and maintain standard statistical models to support ongoing business needs.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2-4 years of related work experience.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Proficiency in Python and/or SQL.
- Experience building and maintaining dashboards, with strong preference for Looker.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Analytics, Health Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience in the Utilization Management (UM) or Managed Care Payer space.
- Experience working with Google BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouse platforms.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code to accelerate analytical workflows.
