HEALTH TECHNICIAN (TELEHEALTH CLINICAL)

About the role

The incumbent will be assigned to the State College Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) but will serve as a float to provide coverage across all five CBOCs and the main Altoona facility in the event of extended leave, call‑off, a position vacancy, or when workload balance is needed. Daily or frequent travel will be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Supporting clinical telehealth encounters for both the patient and provider locations by serving as the tele‑presenter per scope of practice
• Functioning as an imager and data manager for telehealth store and forward applications
• Managing real‑time clinical telehealth events, providing patient education, and providing technical and administrative support of telehealth operations
• Providing technical support to end‑users, scheduling simple and complex intra‑facility and inter‑facility telehealth appointments, installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting technology, and performing a variety of program support duties as assigned
