About the Role
The Clinical Applications Technician provides telephone-based technical and application support for the electronic medical record (EMR) system, addressing both technical and end-user workflow issues. This role supports a diverse customer base, including medical center staff, patients utilizing application portals, and Community Connect affiliate hospitals. The position collaborates closely with IT infrastructure, technical support, and application teams to troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 support issues.
Additional responsibilities include system maintenance, operational support activities, issue documentation, and other duties as assigned to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of clinical applications.
Responsibilities
- Provide telephone-based technical and application support for the EMR system.
- Address technical and end-user workflow issues.
- Support medical center staff, patients using application portals, and Community Connect affiliate hospitals.
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure, technical support, and application teams to troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 support issues.
- Perform system maintenance and operational support activities.
- Document issues and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One (1) year of relevant work experience in a customer support, healthcare, information technology, or clinical applications support environment.
