About the role

Touchmark at Georgetown is Central Texas's premier retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through exceptional service and quality housing. We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as a full-time Health Services Coordinator.

Responsibilities

  • Create the Health Services schedule
  • Handle any/all schedule issues for the Health Services team including call-ins and finding replacements for shift coverage
  • Attend scheduled in-services and staff meetings
  • Train new Health Services team members (i.e. Medication Aides and Certified Caregivers)
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity and compassion)
  • Experience as a Certified Caregiver / Certified Medication Aide
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • The ability to work in a busy environment, with frequent changes and interruptions
  • The ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Prior administrative experience (not required, but helpful)
  • Excellent computer skills, including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel, and Outlook
  • A genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
  • A willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality
  • The ability to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
