Health Project Principal
About the role
We're looking for a Health Project Principal to join our Architecture practice at HDR. You'll be responsible for directing and coordinating work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle, from development & initiation to close-out. Your work will directly influence how individuals experience the world around them.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle (from development & initiation to close-out)
- Responsible for any project assignment regardless of size, visibility, number of disciplines, technical complexity or number of staff
- Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently
- Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
- Conduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholders
- Cookstaff and workload through entire project life cycle, and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule
- Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule
- Implement QA/QC procedures
- Supervise large project staffs and act as mentor for less-experienced Project Managers
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 15 years related experience
- Minimum of 7 years project management experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, project management software
- Able to lead a team on projects and make client presentations
- Knowledge and experience within the local and regional market
- Strong team leadership, mentoring, motivational/organizational and people skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willing to travel
- Experience and/or interest in sustainable design / LEED
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- Professional Registration
- Experience on large-scale health projects

Pay
The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) $154,000 - $220,000
