Duties
Lead and oversee statewide Asthma related program, initiatives, and staff to ensure successful program delivery and achievement of strategic goals.
Manage program budgets, grants, reporting requirements, and performance metrics while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Develop and implement innovative strategies to improve access to healthcare services for children, families, and underserved populations.
Build strong partnerships with healthcare providers, schools, local health departments, community organizations, and state agencies.
Analyze program performance, identify service gaps, and recommend improvements to increase effectiveness and impact.
Provide technical assistance, policy guidance, and subject matter expertise to stakeholders across the state.
Lead public health education, outreach, and communication efforts to promote health awareness and program participation.
Qualifications
- 3 yrs. exp. in health program delivery (e.g., program implementation, program coordination, program monitoring & evaluation, budget development, grant writing/review, providing technical assistance)
- Completion of graduate core program in field of public health, health administration, preventive medicine, social work, nursing or other health-related field, or public policy & management/public administration or business administration
