Health Planner 2
About the role
We're looking for a Health Planner II who can contribute to the design and delivery of spaces and experiences that enhance community well-being. You'll work on projects that involve creating accurate and detailed drawings, preparing drawings and specification documents, and assisting in the preparation of presentation drawings, diagrams, and narratives.
Responsibilities
- Provide planning, design and coordination support on projects
- Engage in problem solving, teamwork, critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and visualization to create accurate and detailed drawings
- Prepare drawings and specification documents
- Research, plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials
- Assist the lead Health Planner in the preparation of presentation drawings, diagrams and narratives
- Aid in the coordination of all disciplines related to the building design and health planning

- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- Master's degree in Architecture
- Strong computer skills (AutoCAD, REVIT, Rhino, MS Office, Blue Beam)
- Architectural registration
- A minimum of 5 years of experience within the healthcare architecture field, with 3 years exclusively as a health planner
- Advanced credentials desired (e.g. ACHA, LEED, EDAC, etc.)
- Willingness to travel
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Architecture
- Preferred qualifications include strong computer skills (AutoCAD, REVIT, Rhino, MS Office, Blue Beam)
- Preferred qualifications include architectural registration
- Preferred qualifications include a minimum of 5 years of experience within the healthcare architecture field, with 3 years exclusively as a health planner

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field
- A minimum of 3 years experience in A/E industry
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, prints, drawings and models
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and flexible
- Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in the construction of buildings

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
