About the role

We're looking for a Health Planner II to join our Architecture team. You'll contribute to the design and delivery of spaces and experiences that advance community well-being. Your work will directly influence how individuals experience the world around them.

Responsibilities

  • Provide planning, design and coordination support on projects
  • Engage in problem solving, teamwork, critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and visualization to create accurate and detailed drawings
  • Prepare drawings and specification documents
  • Research, plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials
  • Understand healthcare trends
  • Aid in the preparation of presentation drawings, diagrams and narratives
  • Aid in the coordination of all disciplines related to the building design and health planning
  • Research, plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials
  • Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Architecture
  • Strong computer skills (AutoCAD, REVIT, Rhino, MS Office, Blue Beam)
  • Architectural registration
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience within the healthcare architecture field, with 3 years exclusively as a health planner
  • Advanced credentials desired (e.g. ACHA, LEED, EDAC, etc.)
  • Willingness to travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Architecture

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in A/E industry
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, prints, drawings and models
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and flexible
  • Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in the construction of buildings
