Health Instructional Assistant II - 1.00 hrs - 2.00 hrs ***In-House Posting***

About the role

Under immediate supervision of certificated staff, assists in conducting intensified, positive learning experiences for students in assigned areas of study; performs a variety of clerical and supportive tasks for certificated personnel; and provides assistance as well as health care services to students with identified special health needs.

Responsible to the Site Principal or Administrative Designee and Director of Special Education and Credentialed School Nurse for student health services.

• Provides assistance as well as health care services to students with identified special health needs.
• Works under the supervision of the Site Principal or Administrative Designee and Director of Special Education and Credentialed School Nurse for student health services.

• Summerwind Trails School (2.0 hours): 6:30 am - 7:30 am, 1:50 pm - 2:50 pm
• Mountain View Middle School (1.25 hours): 6:45 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
• San Gorgonio Middle School (1.80 hours): 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.; 3:00 p.m. - 3:58 p.m.
• Baumont High School (2 positions): 7:50 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.; 3:15 p.m. - 4:35 p.m.
• Baumont High School (1 position): 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.; 3:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

This position will be assigned to different sites throughout the school year as student need arises.

Other requirements:

• Pass the District's adopted test with a satisfactory score.

• This position maybe in a Moderate/Severe class.
• You must be willing to change diapers and clean up various types of bodily fluids.
