Health Education Manager

About the role

Provides operational, supervisory, and programmatic leadership within the Health Education & Wellness Unit at McKinley Health Center. Reporting to the Director of Health Education, supervises assigned professional staff, graduate assistants, and student workers; supports the operational infrastructure of the unit; and contributes meaningfully to the design, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based, equity-centered health education programming. This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 5002 - Program Coordinator position, appointed on a 12‑month basis, with an expected start date as soon as possible after 11/9/2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, onboarding, and ongoing professional development support to assigned staff, graduate assistants, and student workers, fostering a team culture grounded in accountability, inclusion, and continuous growth.
• Coordinate day-to-day unit operations, including scheduling, workload distribution, and staff coverage, to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery across all program areas.
• Facilitate regular team meetings, individual supervision meetings, and performance conversations.
