About the role
Our client is seeking a mid-level associate to join its dynamic Health Care practice. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across offices and practice teams on sophisticated and complex health care matters.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on health care transactions and regulatory matters
- Draft and negotiate health care-related agreements, including provider and vendor contracts, and business associate agreements
- Address complex regulatory issues through legal research and analysis
- Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively
- Contribute to business development efforts, including client presentations and industry engagement
Requirements
- 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a law firm setting, with a strong foundation in healthcare transactional and regulatory matters
- Familiarity with federal and state health care laws and regulations, including HIPAA and state privacy laws, Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, Medicare and Medicaid programs, and provider licensure requirements
- Strong legal research and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational skills
Qualifications
- Hold a J.D. from an accredited law school
- Possess strong academic credentials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
