About the role
CMI seeks professionals with a passion for environmental, health, and safety (EHS) to join our dynamic team. We offer a range of positions from full-time to contract roles, focusing on program management, construction and industrial safety, environmental compliance, industrial hygiene, and safety training.
Responsibilities
- Support operations in construction or industrial settings
- Engage directly with clients to improve safety practices
- Work in physically dynamic conditions or outdoors
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement safety initiatives
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., safety, environmental science, engineering)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in EHS
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Experience in project management
- Understanding of environmental laws and regulations
- Knowledge of safety policies and procedures
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
