About the role
CMI seeks individuals with a passion for environmental, health, and safety (EHS) to join our team. We are looking for professionals who can manage EHS programs, ensure compliance, conduct industrial hygiene assessments, and deliver safety training.
Responsibilities
- Manage EHS programs and ensure compliance with regulations
- Conduct industrial hygiene assessments and risk evaluations
- Develop and implement safety training programs
- Engage with clients to improve safety practices
- Support operations in construction or industrial settings
- Work outdoors or in physically dynamic conditions
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, safety engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS management or related field
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and other relevant regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Experience in construction and industrial safety
- Knowledge of environmental compliance and permitting processes
- Ability to work in dynamic, sometimes challenging environments
- Passion for improving workplace safety and reducing risks
Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in safety software and tools
