About the role

CMI seeks individuals who are passionate about protecting people, environments, and organizations through Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs. This role involves managing EHS programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and improving safety practices in various industries.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement EHS programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to prevent accidents and incidents.
  • Train employees and contractors on safety protocols and best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and address safety concerns and improve workplace safety.
  • Monitor and report on safety metrics to assess program effectiveness and make improvements as needed.
  • Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in EHS management or a related field.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and other relevant regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

  • Experience in construction, industrial, or environmental settings.
  • Knowledge of environmental compliance and permitting processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for safety and a commitment to continuous improvement.
