About the role
CMI seeks individuals with a passion for environmental, health, and safety (EHS) to join our team. We offer a range of positions including EHS Program Management, Construction & Industrial Safety, Environmental Compliance & Permitting, Industrial Hygiene & Exposure Assessment, and Safety Training & Workforce Development.
Responsibilities
- Support operations in construction or industrial settings
- Engage directly with clients to improve safety practices
- Work outdoors or in physically dynamic conditions
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and guidelines
- Develop and implement safety programs and policies
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
- Train and educate employees on safety procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address safety concerns
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, safety engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS or related field
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Experience in field-based roles is preferred
- Passion for safety and a commitment to continuous improvement
- Ability to work in dynamic and sometimes challenging environments
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
