Central Christian College of Kansas (CCCK) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Head Women's Basketball Coach.
About the Role
The Head Women's Basketball Coach is responsible for all aspects of the women's basketball program, including recruiting, coaching, scheduling, budget management, and ensuring academic success of student-athletes. This position reports directly to the Athletic Director.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and conduct practices and games.
- Recruit qualified student-athletes who align with the college’s mission and academic standards.
- Monitor and support the academic progress of student-athletes, ensuring eligibility and graduation success.
- Develop and manage the program’s budget, including travel, equipment, and operational expenses.
- Schedule games, tournaments, and events in coordination with the Athletic Director.
- Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes spiritual growth, character development, and athletic excellence.
- Comply with all NCCAA, conference, and institutional policies and regulations.
- Engage in community outreach and fundraising activities to support the program.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience at the collegiate or high school level.
- Strong knowledge of basketball strategies, techniques, and player development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Central Christian College of Kansas.
- Ability to recruit and retain student-athletes who excel academically and athletically.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for recruiting and games.
