Role Overview
The Head of US Sales – Renewables is responsible for driving growth of the company's U.S. renewable energy EPC business, with a focus on high-voltage substations, transmission lines, and grid interconnection infrastructure. The role targets utility-scale solar, wind, and energy storage projects and works closely with utilities, IPPs, and developers to secure profitable EPC contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute U.S. business development strategy for renewable and grid infrastructure EPC projects
- Identify, qualify, and secure new EPC opportunities in utility-scale solar, wind, and BESS markets
- Build and manage senior-level relationships with utilities, IPPs, developers, ISOs/RTOs, and consultants
- Coordinate with engineering, estimating, legal, and commercial teams to deliver competitive proposals
- Support contract negotiations and project handover to execution teams
- Provide market insights, sales forecasts, and strategic input to senior leadership
Experience & Qualifications
- 7+ years of business development or commercial experience in U.S. EPC, power transmission, or renewable energy markets
- Proven track record securing utility-scale renewable or HV EPC projects
- Strong understanding of HV systems (69kV–500kV), substations, transmission, and grid interconnection processes
- Familiarity with U.S. utilities, IPPs, FERC/NERC requirements, and ISO/RTO markets
