Responsibilities
- Lead the acceleration of Small Business card growth and customer retention by defining go-forward strategies informed by analytics and market dynamics across small business card products.
- Own the Small Business cards portfolio P&L end-to-end, serving as the accountable executive for all financial outcomes, performance targets, and ongoing portfolio monitoring — including revenue, credit, and expense drivers.
- Deliver continuous product enhancements to keep Citi's Small Business cards competitive, including the development of refreshed value propositions and new capabilities across existing and emerging channels.
- Partner with key stakeholders to drive customer engagement and deliver against key drivers and P&L imperatives. Partner across functions to resolve customer issues, improve core customer experience, and deepen engagement with Citi’s Small Business Banking segments.
- Build and manage external partnerships and deployment opportunities to expand the reach and impact of Small Business products.
- Lead, develop, and support a team dedicated to the small business segment, instilling a culture of accountability, commercial discipline, and continuous development.
- Embed a strong risk and control mindset into all business decisions — upholding Citi's policies, ethical standards, and regulatory obligations, escalating issues with transparency, and holding the team accountable to the same standards.
- Ensure compliance and consistency with Citi’s Compliance & Control policy and local regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- 15+ years sales management experience.
- People management experience.
- Extensive experience in the small business banking segment.
- Deep knowledge of consumer/small business banking products and the competitive landscape, with the ability to translate market insight into clear commercial strategy.
- Record of delivering and managing P&L outcomes in a metric-driven environment.
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions, leading and working alongside key internal and external partners to deliver shared outcomes.
- Solid understanding of compliance obligations and regulatory requirements in a consumer financial services context, with a clear commitment to ethical conduct and risk-aware decision-making.
