About the role

The successful candidate will lead Hilltop Montessori School, a warm and inclusive independent school serving students from 15 months through Grade 8. They will inherit a school with a strong Montessori identity, dedicated faculty and staff, engaged families, and a healthy partnership with the Board of Trustees.

Responsibilities

• Guide enrollment strategies to ensure long-term financial sustainability
• Support strategic planning to shape the school's future
• Steward campus and programmatic growth
• Ensure the school remains true to its Montessori principles and values

Requirements

• A deep understanding of Montessori philosophy and child-centered education
• Strong educational and organizational leadership experience
• Financial and operational acumen
• Advancement and enrollment management experience
• A warm, relational, and community-centered leadership style
• A commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging
• The ability to balance continuity with thoughtful innovation

Qualifications

• A degree in education or a related field
• Experience leading a similar institution
• Knowledge of Montessori pedagogy and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
