About Candidate.fyi

Candidate.fyi is an AI-powered interview scheduling and recruiting coordination platform designed for enterprise companies. We assist HR leaders, recruiting operations teams, and talent acquisition professionals at mid-to-large enterprises in streamlining their hiring processes through deep integrations with Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, and other major ATS platforms.

Why We're Hiring

We have established enterprise traction, with a GTM engineer focused on content and demand generation systems, an account executive closing deals, and two Enterprise Business Development Representatives (BDRs) building pipeline. However, there is no one dedicated to marketing strategy end-to-end. This role will be the first dedicated marketing hire, meaning you will be responsible for writing and executing the marketing strategy from scratch.

What You'll Own

  • Brand and Positioning: Define how candidate.fyi sounds and looks across all touchpoints: website, content, social media, email, sales collateral.

  • Content Strategy and Category Authority: Build the content engine (blog, case studies, thought leadership) that positions candidate.fyi as the leading name in AI-powered recruiting coordination, collaborating closely with our GTM Engineer to implement it.

  • Demand Generation: Design and run campaigns that continuously feed top-of-funnel pipeline into our sales team. You will own the KPIs, not just the activities.

  • Sales Enablement and Messaging: Partner directly with our Account Executive and BDRs to ensure the narrative you are telling in the market aligns with the stories being shared in outbound and sales conversations.

  • Category-Building Initiatives: Support strategic GTM pushes and initiatives aimed at building the candidate.fyi brand and category position.

  • Marketing Performance: Own reporting that links campaign and content activity to actual pipeline and revenue outcomes, not just vanity metrics.

  • Real-World Presence and Thought Leadership: Secure speaking or podcast slots for candidate.fyi at industry events and conferences beyond our own channels.

Content creation isn't limited to publishing; it also involves showcasing our brand and expertise in various formats.

What You'll Need

  • Experience: 5+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, particularly with experience selling into enterprise HR, talent acquisition, or related enterprise software categories.

  • Building Content or Demand Gen Engines: A proven track record of building a content or demand generation engine from scratch at an early-stage company, rather than simply running an existing playbook at a larger organization.

  • Writing and Storytelling: Strong writing and storytelling skills to craft compelling narratives that resonate with sophisticated, skeptical HR and TA leaders.

  • Management and Execution: Comfortable managing a direct report while maintaining hands-on involvement in execution.

  • Startup Mentality: Ready to operate in an environment of ambiguity, move quickly, and deliver results even without a fully delegated team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in HR Tech, Recruiting, or Specific Ecosystems: Background in marketing specifically targeting HR technology, recruiting, or the Workday/Greenhouse/Lever ecosystem.

  • Co-Marketing or Partner Marketing: Experience in running co-marketing or partner marketing campaigns with platform partners.

  • Familiarity with Marketing Tools: Knowledge of HubSpot or similar marketing stacks.
