HEAD OF MARKETING
About the role
The Head of Marketing will transform AcquiMatch’s marketing efforts into a world-class engine capable of generating qualified leads and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, owning the entire marketing ecosystem from content creation to paid acquisition, and scaling the team as needed.
Responsibilities
- Turn the weekly newsletter into a hub for repurposing content and driving SEO, blog, and video content.
- Own LinkedIn strategy and set the cadence to drive inbound traffic.
- Run webinars end-to-end, including promotion, setup, run-of-show, and follow-up to convert leads.
- Generate 5 to 10 qualified sales leads per week from owned channels within 90 days, reducing reliance on guest podcast spots.
- Optimize existing lead magnets and nurture sequences to ensure no leads go cold and more become booked calls.
- Implement paid acquisition campaigns on Meta, LinkedIn, and YouTube to amplify what works, managing budgets to hit target cost-per-qualified-lead.
- Guard the brand voice, ensuring it remains punchy, direct, and trustworthy.
- Develop and script the founder for various content types, including VSLs, short-form, and long-form content.
- Build and manage a pipeline of speaking, podcast, and interview opportunities to increase inbound requests.
- Launch an internal podcast when the engine is ready to support it.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in content, brand, or growth marketing, preferably for a founder-led brand.
- Strong writer and editor with a consistent brand voice across newsletters, social media, and scripts.
- Hands-on producer comfortable with studio equipment, filming, directing, and editing.
- Experience running and reading paid ad accounts and understanding healthy cost-per-qualified-lead.
- Expertise in creating compelling content for complex topics like business buying, finance, and M&A.
- Ability to build and scale a content-driven lead engine, showing measurable results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven track record of building and scaling marketing engines that generate qualified leads and close deals.
- Experience with content marketing, brand management, and paid acquisition strategies.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Passion for entrepreneurship and the SMB and ETA space.

Pay
Base salary plus performance incentives tied to qualified-lead generation and marketing-sourced pipeline, with a potential range of $115K to $135K. Final package depends on experience and proven ability to build a content-driven lead engine.
Schedule
Full-time, operating on US Central Time hours.
