Head of IT

Responsibilities

• Set Verily’s IT strategy and roadmap, supporting all corporate systems, employees, and contractors.
• Recruit top talent and build and lead an excellent team of highly technical IT professionals.
• Be a leader in evolving Verily’s corporate and business systems to deliver world-class capabilities, productivity tools, and training to drive ROI and AI-based automation.
• Collaborate with Verily Leadership, building strong and trusting relationships with Engineering, Product, Clinical, Regulatory and Quality, Security, Legal, Finance, and Commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: 8 years of progressive management experience in IT organizations, including multi-site operations and onshore/offshore teams and vendor management and negotiation. 10 years of technical experience in IT, enterprise architecture, and relevant tools and platforms. Proven track record developing innovative IT applications and integrating with security and engineering groups. Hands-on and collaborative approach to establishing a cost-effective company-wide IT strategy. Direct experience with Salesforce, Workday, SAP, Google Workspace, or equivalent tools, and hands-on experience with hyperscaler platforms, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, and/or Azure. Technical undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• PREFERRED Qualifications: 3+ years of working experience in the healthcare field, including familiarity with HIPAA. Direct experience with FedRAMP and GDPR.
