About the role
The Head of IT will lead the Information Technology Services department in New York, overseeing all aspects of technology operations, including infrastructure management, software development, cybersecurity, and user support.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical operations of the Information Technology Services department
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance technology services and improve efficiency
- Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems
- Lead a team of IT professionals in delivering high-quality services to the organization
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to IT operations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of IT solutions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, preferably in a similar industry
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing IT teams
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and virtualization technologies
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
