About the role

Allspring is seeking an experienced institutional distribution leader to serve as Head of Institutional Distribution, East Region. This is a senior player/coach role responsible for driving business development, deepening strategic client relationships, and leading a team of institutional professionals across the Eastern United States. The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering new business, expanding existing client relationships, and increasing Allspring's market share across pensions, defined contribution plans, endowments/foundations, consultants, and other institutional investors. Approximately 70% of the role will be dedicated to direct sales and client coverage activities, with 30% focused on leadership, coaching, talent development, and regional business management. This individual will help shape regional strategy, drive commercial execution, and serve as a connector between clients, consultants, investment professionals, and senior leadership.
