Head of Housekeeping

About the role

The Head of Housekeeping oversees all cleaning staff and ensures that the premises are kept clean and hygienic at all times. This includes managing daily cleaning schedules, supervising cleaning activities, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cleaning schedules and ensure adherence to established protocols.
• Supervise cleaning staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and emergency procedures.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of cleaning areas to identify and address issues promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and train cleaning staff.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for moving supplies.
