Head of Finance

About the role

The successful candidate will take ownership of the Finance function while supporting the accounting team, collaborating with department leaders to provide financial insights, budgeting, and forecasting expertise in a dynamic, technology-centric environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis to deliver strategic insights, financial modeling, and decision support across the organization.
• Oversee financial operations and drive financial budgeting while managing multiple vendors.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and ensure completion of taxes and annual audits by managing external third-party relationships.
• Build and improve scalable finance systems, using automation and AI to increase efficiency and reporting quality.
• Partner cross-functionally, share knowledge, and adapt to evolving business needs.

Requirements

• Around 10 years of experience in strategic finance, preferably within a startup environment.
• Prior experience leading teams as well as finance and accounting functions.
• CPA is a plus but not required.
• Strong relationship-building skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to adapt and grow with the ever-evolving AI and technology landscape.
