Head of Commercial Strategy, North America

For our client, we are seeking a Head of Commercial Strategy, North America to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will shape and execute the commercial strategy for North America, with a focus on the buy-side market and complex financial workflows. The position will drive new business opportunities across risk, trading, and quantitative functions while aligning closely with product and sales partners. It will also support consultative engagements with senior stakeholders and help inform broader market and product direction through commercial insight. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $169,000 – $260,000 annually Responsibilities Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for North America targeting buy-side institutions. Originate new opportunities in Market Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk, xVA, and related workflows. Engage with senior stakeholders across Risk, Front Office, Quant, and Technology. Position solutions as complementary to existing infrastructure. Partner with product and sales teams to shape proposals and manage complex sales cycles. Provide market intelligence to inform commercial and product strategies. Qualifications 15+ years of experience in capital markets, risk technology, or financial analytics business development. Proven track record in selling to North American buy-side institutions. Strong knowledge of Market Risk, CCR, xVA, or risk data infrastructure. Established network within risk, trading, or quantitative functions. Ability to drive consultative, solution-led engagements. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
