Head Junior Varsity Field Hockey Coach

About the role

The successful candidate will lead the junior varsity field hockey team, providing coaching and support to enhance the skills and performance of the players.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of the team
• Manage team practices and games, ensuring adherence to league rules and regulations
• Work closely with the head coach to coordinate team strategies and tactics
• Maintain open communication with players, parents, and other coaches
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in physical education or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience at the high school level
• Strong knowledge of field hockey rules and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse groups of students
• Passion for field hockey and commitment to player development
• Knowledge of injury prevention and recovery techniques
